1. Book a consultation

To discuss your wisdom teeth concerns and determine the best management for your case. In some instances, not all wisdom teeth will require removal. We can also remove any other teeth which may be decayed or required for orthodontic treatment (braces).

A full mouth x-ray of your teeth (OPG scan) is required prior to the consultation to assess the wisdom teeth position. Most radiology clinics can provide this for free with a Medicare card (please mention if you require this scan when booking). If you have had an OPG scan at your dentist, please request it to be emailed directly to info@wisdomteethclinics.com

Due to the COVID pandemic, all consultations will be free of charge to patients. Our consultations are by appointment only - call or e-mail to book.

2. Choose a procedure

During your consultation, you will discuss the options for wisdom teeth removal. The decision can depend on certain factors such as the position of the teeth, difficulty of removal or patient anxiety.

We offer removal under local anaesthetic (awake in dental chair) or general anaesthetic (asleep in day hospital). Laughing gas (nitrous oxide sedation) is also available for select cases.

General anaesthetic is performed at an accredited day surgery hospital by a medically trained specialist in anaesthetics. Bulk bill rebate by Medicare is included with this service.

3. Pick payment method

You’ll never pay more than $1290 for all 4 wisdom teeth removal (dental fee for wisdom teeth extraction). This fee includes a free OPG scan (only with a Medicare card at most radiology centres).

Additional anaesthetist and day surgery hospital fees will apply for a general anaesthetic. A Medicare bulk bill rebate is available for specialist anaesthetist fees.

Procedure performed by Australian qualified dental surgeons and general anaesthetic performed by qualified Australian medical practitioners (specialist anaesthetists).
